A passion for art and literature led Amanda Gelsi to create Punctuate Writing & Editing. Raised in a family where creativity and learning were nurtured, she discovered early the simple joy in immersing oneself in a book.
Many pleasant memories surround reading – sitting in front of the fire after dinner as her mother read chapters of intriguing adventures to the family; eagerly awaiting the arrival of the library van as it lumbered down the dusty main street of their small country town; sitting cross-legged on the carpet, spellbound as a real-life Australian author read his brand new story to the class.
Amanda further pursued her artistic interests in adulthood, completing a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts degree with majors in Screen Studies and The Contemporary Image. An eye for visual design complements her word skills, lending another valuable element to client presentations.
Amanda is a regular contributor of feature articles and reviews to Australian magazine publications. She also produces business and marketing literature for small business, and provides editing and proofing services for professional and personal clients, from academics to authors.

In her spare time, Amanda is completing a Postgrad Dip. Ed. to teach secondary English, Literature and Media, and writes a book blog.
